      - Extraordinary progress every day - Some of the smartest people on the planet in one org - Bold and visionary purpose with amazing execution - A strong CEO that does not shy away from being a CEO (aka making hard decisions) - Full of inspiration and learnings - The constant feeling that you are moving the world forward

      Cons

      Startup is a sinking ship. Restructuring took place that left employees feeling very untrustworthy and uncertain of leadership team, management, and their futures at the company. Morale and energy reached a dangerous low that the company just couldn't seem to recover from it. Leadership team cleaned house, and then left, either forced or resigned. Managers are a mixture of way too hands off, or up in your face micromanagers. Department heads, all the way up to VP's are incompetent, and don't have any business managing people. Hard work seemed to always go unnoticed. WAY too much internal politics for such a small, and now very lean company.

      Pros

      You get to work with the best people in their field. Everyone shares the excitement of unleashing something potentially big. A lot of employees have academic background and love to teach, so there are plenty of opportunities to learn.

      Cons

      There has been high employee turnaround at every level, but when people do leave, they generally go to reputable companies or start their own.
