      Pros

      Pros include a flexible schedule, knowledgeable coworkers, and unique learning experiences. Very rewarding to help train and/or move people into next phase of careers and leadership.

      Cons

      Consultancy means an uneven work schedule. Sometimes it's a very steady period of time focusuing on the Right programs with a set of consistent clients, othertimes it's a one-on-one with a very specific need for a short period of time.

      Highly talented staff Flexibility to work virtually Rewards are evident through candidates services; works well for people holding that value as high Staff is strongly committed to success of candidates and servicing clients

      Cons

      Industry pay has been re-aligned, but is still not competitive with background experience needed for success in consulting roles FT opportunities few, as small tight industry with high volume flex staff Need to continue working on cross-use of staff between career management and talent management High level of change not a fit for everyone, but necessary in marketplace

      Going Down Hill Fast

      Pros

      Salary was good before they began decreasing everyone's rate Good product and offered a true benefit to people going through outplacement

      Cons

      Downsizing, closing offices. Consultants worked on call from home or temporary locations. Work was almost non-existant. My supervisor kept changing and at the end, I had no idea who to contact for questions.
