Pros

Can earn decent commission if you work hard. Annual earnings are good but once you work out the hourly rate it becomes quite a lot less attractive

Cons

Constant flat out lies from directors and management (too many to list)
Brainwashing tactics Staff are told that it is normal to work an insane amount of hours per week and if they don’t do this they are uncommitted (to the cult) and have no goals and will never achieve anything in life The level of sexism in office is disgusting Their responce and handing of Covid19 was a complete joke Constant talk of growth and expansion yet the company hasnt grown in head count at all in the last 3/4 years. They have a clear problem retaining staff

Pros

-You can make good friends considering you're going through the trauma of working here together

Cons

-The retention rate here is appalling. People resign almost daily, only for management to turn around the next day and disparage them to the entire office. -The expectations are absolutely absurd. While high KPIs are common in sales and recruitment, this place takes it to a new level. It's as if the MDs view employees as machines, criticizing and belittling you if you fail to produce 1000 vacancies within 30 seconds. -There is no HR. HR left after only 6 months because of the sheer ridiculousness of this company. Whats humorous is that I am not even allowed to post half of the issues I experienced here due to censorship! -There's a shocking lack of diversity, inclusion, and consideration for mental health or work-life balance. Women are virtually nonexistent here. And god forbid if they are.. for obvious reasons The way management speaks to employees is nothing short of degrading. One MD in particular has serious anger issues and uses the office as a personal rage room. -I wanted to report the MD for the way he screamed, belittled, and bullied me, but of course, there was no HR to report it to. -The directors regularly give long, distracting speeches, boasting about how they got rich and bought Rolexes through "hard work," even though many of them came from private school backgrounds. -They expect you to treat the CEO like a deity. -Working here for just 7 months completely destroyed my mental well-being and distorted my sense of reality.

Pros

Good people to work with Can earn decent money Some managers / directors do genuinely care about your success

Cons

Awful retention rate and they don't sack people they just force people out by asking why are you still here? Two days compassionate leave, I had to take leave out of my own holiday allowance after the passing of a close family member. They will threaten you with your job in a group setting if the company / your team is underperforming. They sell the job on quick progression but it doesn't really mean anything just a title and more pressure plus a higher personal budget to hit - oh and a 1k annual pay rise! Weird sort of cult like attitude to those who leave and you have to recite the manual and learn it word for word every month or so. No sick pay -they introduced sick pay half way through my time there but only made it available to people Senior Consultant and above.
