Pros

Remote work and benefits. That’s it.

Cons

Risepoint absolutely ruined Wiley employees and partners alike. You only care about the breadwinners and will slowly pull back services until partners have no choice but to part ways. Why would anyone in their right mind want to partner with a company that wants to give the bare minimum? Certain ELT members have zero communication skills. No people skills. Leave the drill sergeant mentality for the military. Favoritism to those who come from AP. Unrealistic expectations and goals. Leadership makes decisions that negatively impact partners. Very big “deal with it mentality” that will have you immediately blackballed for professionally and respectfully for speaking up on behalf of partners you’ve serviced for years. Thank you for taking away my autonomy. 👍🏻

Pros

Remote first company, university recruitment, acquired Wiley University Services over a year ago. Use Salesforce CRM.

Cons

70 seasoned staff laid off as company now making payments on its private equity loan for the recent takeover. Not as personal or professional as Wiley. Much more of a call center feel, mass-marketing, compliance requirements are a real bother. Layoffs came, some severance offered, but serious confusion in communication on the health care benefit extension in the severance.

Getting Worse and Worse

Pros

Some of the people are great and remote work.

Cons

Pretty much everything else, pay is decent but still extremely low when you consider cost of living and the amount of money that is generated. The micromanaging here is on a whole other level. They literally track every single thing you do every single second of your day. They now have AI listening and transcribing every single call. They are less worried about the end result than they are making sure you follow their process. You can get the end goals they have set for you and they will still hassle you for not doing it exactly their way or not having a high enough working rate. They also claim to be transparent, which they are very transparent about only the things they want you to know.
