Pros

Not much. Remote work is nice.

Cons

- Low pay and merit increases and no profit sharing - Hyper competitive, up or out culture - Unmanageable workloads and no work life balance - No sick leave and low number of PTO days - Private equity owned so the real mission is really to make investors a slightly higher rate of return than they can get in the stock market :-(

Pros

Flexible schedule and great co-workers.

Cons

Management can be pretty toxic. Micromanagement styles rule the day. Upper management makes product decisions without consulting the devs that will actually be implementing. People's titles don't match their roles. There are no clear defined career pathways. Management will change your title without proper notice, and no compensation, and will move people into different roles without really asking if they want to be there.

Pros

They were able to adapt to increased need through Covid.

Cons

They overwork their employees. They expect the same, over-inflated numbers despite employees leaving the company. This puts undue stress on the remaining team members. It's a for-profit attitude in a non-profit world.
