Pros

The people you work with are really great and there are many things to learn, which keep things interesting.

Cons

The pay is on the lower end and there are lots of layoffs, so you never know when you will lose your job.

We’re happy to hear that you get to work with great people in a learning environment! Over the last year we have seen change but we continue to keep our employees, our culture and our partners at the heart of everything we do.

Pros

Our mission to expand access to affordable, accredited, workforce relevant online education by partnering with non-profit universities makes every hard day worth it. I know most companies prescribe to some divine mission, but at AP, it is the guiding principle for everything we do. I feel blessed that the work I do has a positive generational impact.

Cons

As the company grew, we maintained a “start up” get it done mindset. This has led us not having the infrastructure we need for a company our size. We have recently gone through significant leadership changes that have created a large amount of uncertainty, and fear of job loss. The changes have only occurred in the last 6 months, so hopefully it will improve.
