Pros

Schedule somewhat flexible (depends on manager). KPIs clearly defined. Business casual dress code. Great office space located in the Plaza of the Americas (Downtown Dallas). Adjacent to public transportation, DART's Pearl Station.

Cons

Minimal training (1 week) that didn't focus on the important aspects of the position. Daily call/talk time requirement (Ex: 115 calls and 3 hours of talk time a day minimum - if you have less than 3 hours of talk time, you would be required to make more calls.) Call strategy - required to call same person multiple times a day, every day for several days until reached. You feel less like an educational counselor and more like a telemarketer. Multiple weekly meetings (1 on 1's and team meetings). Little to no room for advancement within department. Difficult to make lateral move within company. Low starting salary - minimal, if any, salary increases. Micromanaging management style (most not all).

Pros

They are trying to develop solid relationships with accredited Universites and Colleges to help current professionals obtain advanced degrees

Cons

The managment runs everything like the "wild wild west"... decisions are made "shotgun style" and the sales team isnt advised of those desicions until it's too late. The company is trying to grow too quickly and doesnt stop to determine the consequences of making decisions on the fly. I regret having quite my last job to work it---it's not a place I would recommend for anyone sales professional looking to get into educational sales unless you like to sell a "concept" and then be told that the 'concept' is being changed and all of your efforts were for nothing.
