Pros

Forward thinking company. Youthful environment. Strong leadership.

Cons

Sales reps are making 100 cold calls a day to businesses who have far bigger things to care about than their trash. Simple as that. Mentally taxing with commission structure that doesn’t match expectations.

WORST Experience Ever

Pros

honestly can't think of anything good about working here other than making a few friends

Cons

Horrible training over zoom with a bunch of older folks always having technology issues and not knowing how to operate a computer. Questions in training were always ignored by the trainer. My sales coach didn't even know who I was for like a week and then just moved to a different market. Then my new sales coach just micromanaged everyone. I was given a combined less than 2 weeks notice to hit a nearly impossible quota.

Pros

Office is nice. Some cool people work here. Young environment. Downtown is a fun place to be

Cons

Commuting downtown is expensive and a big part of your paycheck will go to commuting expenses and the temptations of many restaurants, markets, and events you are surrounded by downtown every day. Lots of drama going on here due to a young company with young people where no one really knows what they are doing. Definitely a male - dominated environment and nearly all people in management are men. Almost everyone here has no experience which leads to poor management. No one can trust anyone in this company. Quotas are incredibly hard to meet here and those who survive make it due to being in the right place at the right time. Highest turnover you will ever see. Being here for 3 months you are a veteran.

As of 2019, RoadRunner now offers Commuter Benefits to all employees, to offset commuting costs to downtown. In addition, RoadRunner's leadership team cares personally about each and every member of our organization, and we have a number of programs in place to monitor and support the growth and development of our Business Development Representative Team. We thank you for your time spent with RoadRunner and we wish the best in your next role. Sincerely, RoadRunner Recycling
