Worst job I’ve ever had

Pros

Generous PTO, 17 days + 2 floating holidays depending on your start date

Cons

The culture: It is just terrible; 98% of the company is incredibly unprofessional, territorial and immature, making most days feel pretty hostile. The metrics: excessive and unforgiving (seriously if your goal is 60 interviews/month and you “only” did 58 there will be problems). This feels more like a call center than anything. The compensation structure: no pay increase to your base salary, if you want to earn more you are relying on your bonus, but you don’t have control over the work you are given from the sales team. The sales team: a mess. Very little client control, if at all, they over promise without setting realistic expectations with clients. Generally ineffective rookies with inflated titles and egos. The environment: reminds me of a call center, but with 3 different radios playing at the same time and paper airplanes flying all over. Middle management: appalling. They badmouth employees in front of others and micromanage like there is no other way.

Pros

The benefits available at all levels are better than most companies I have come across. They also reward employees based off performance.

Cons

Disorganized Unethical Inconsistent and sketchy in how they operate. Many managers and execs openly pick favorites. Every one is trying to make a dollar and office etiquette is minimal and rude. No one truly cares about helping people get jobs. They will place just about anyone in a temp position if it makes them money. Attitude was poor, eyes would roll if candidates or clients they don't feel like speaking to would call. Saw multiple people get fired same day without any prior warning. Every branch operates slightly differently, so often times if a prior RH candidate moves to your area, communication with other offices takes time and causes confusion.
