Pros

None! Oh, if you consider screwing people over a positive and/or taking advantage of those too naive to notice, this place is for you! The San Jose office more than does so; it breathes cheating, stealing, and lying while smiling in your face.

Cons

Everything! There is a reason why people leave! The turnover is unbelievable, and when they are lying to potential new hires about all this money one could make, it is a LIE! You don't make anything commission wise because the division directors take it from you and/or mgmt states that it is just the Robert Half way. Current colleagues manipulate Salesforce with duplicate files. Even better, if you enter notes and detail your activities, that is still not enough to prove what you close. Division directors and mgmt go by opinions and he said, she said nonsense. Facts are irrelevant. This place is the ultimate black hole. I cannot stand negative energy, and writing this review is difficult. But, if it helps save a hard-working, ethical individual from joining a toxic place, then I did my job.

Drink the koolaid

Pros

When you place someone in a job, you really are making a difference in their life.

Cons

They will tout how much money you can make, but in reality it's not always the case. Management sets unrealistic expectations on every level beneath them. Quota sounds like a simple number, but it's often out of reach for 75-80% of all salespeople. Not to mention your "base pay" is really just a draw system, so you work on 100% commission less you start digging yourself into a debt-hole. The commission scales rather exponentially too. Hit 50% of your quota and you're just paying back your base salary. Hit 85% of your quota, well then maybe you're making a couple thousand on top of that, but not much. They want you to drink the kool-aid, but once you stop and look around a bit, you'll realize it's a rather despicable company. There's not growth in the company. What do you expect when it's 90% salespeople? If you move to a Division Director, you still have to run a desk without getting paid much more. Want to run a Branch? More than likely you'll still have to run a desk. You could be there for 10-15 years and be nothing more than the desk-running salesperson you were when you first walked in. Also--I hope you enjoy working 50-hour or more work weeks, but not getting compensated for it.
