Pros

Excellent knowledgable technical people that are very helpful in assisting you at accounts when needed. Excellent work life balance and a perfect place for a casual "salesperson" that just wants to coast by with paperwork. Excellent job security especially for those more engineering focused than commercially focused.

Cons

Writing is on the wall that they are in a mature non growth environment and have been actively changing their compensation models to pay their salesforce less and less or to make it harder for you to achieve the same pay consistently year to year despite continuous high level sales performance. Way too many layers of management and "death by a thousand paper-cuts" which consumes the salesforce time and hinders growth. Very focused on promoting as many women as fast as possible regardless of qualifications.

Pros

Great culture, the people were the greatest part of working at Rockwell Automation. The work life balance was heavily emphasized.

Cons

Rockwell is a very conservative company that does not cultivate new ideas and innovation. They talk a good talk but do not take action. Also, vertical movement of minorities is low.

Pros

Flexible when it comes to time off. They have a cafeteria and workout center to attract new recruits. Some areas have a positive atmosphere.

Cons

Budget constraints and financial micro managing plus project priorities has reduced the number of Test Engineering projects. Doing more managerial tasks and far far less real TE work. They're bringing in a lot of Engineers from India and letting go of 50+.
