Pros

The IT people are very nice.

Cons

Management is intending to offshore all of IT. The business looks down at IT as an obstacle and a pain, not realizing that Offshore will be exponentially more difficult to deal with, as well as basically incompetent.

Pros

Very little to find pros when working 12 hour workdays consistently. Ineffective meetings most of the days fire drill mentality with false deadlines.

Cons

Annual layoff of staff members very similar to GE culture. Promotions not earned or based on qualifications and managers are very poor in terms of handling issues with employees. Not a place to advance if you come in from the outside. Short term position.

co-workers are great. Rockwell attracts some of the best in sales and in technical pre-sales support. It is a collaborative work environment.
