Pros

Rokt is an exciting place to be! The company is experiencing huge momentum for growth, and it truly feels like we’re on a rocketship. The product is innovative and industry-leading, which makes working here both challenging and rewarding. The team is filled with incredibly talented and strong individuals who are not only experts in their fields but also genuinely great to work with. One of the standout aspects of Rokt is its values—they aren’t just words on a wall; they are actively practiced in the way we work. There is a strong sense of ownership and autonomy, empowering employees to take initiative and make a real impact. The environment is fast-paced, which means there’s always something new to learn, and the challenges keep things exciting.

Cons

The fast-paced nature of Rokt might not be for everyone. If you thrive in structured, slow-moving environments, it could feel overwhelming. However, for those who love dynamic, high-growth companies, it’s a perfect fit.

Pros

Brilliant People: The team here is full of smart, driven individuals. It’s an intellectually stimulating environment where everyone brings something to the table. CEO: The CEO is a visionary, steadfast in their approach, and has played a key role in driving the company’s tremendous growth. The leadership team is highly committed and passionate about the company’s mission. High Reward for Hard Work: This company is not for the faint of heart. If you’re willing to show up and hustle, the growth and learning opportunities are unmatched. The bar is set high, but if you can meet it, the return on effort is huge. Challenging & Dynamic Environment: If you’re tired of working in a boring, status-quo environment surrounded by non-ambitious people, this is a place for those who thrive on challenge. The work here is intense, but it’s never dull.

Cons

Burnout: The intensity and high expectations can lead to burnout if you’re not careful. You need to be ready for sustained hard work, and it’s not always easy to disconnect. Generational & Experience Gap: There's a noticeable gap between the executive teams and senior leadership, particularly in terms of age and experience. A lot of junior people are working directly with high-level execs internally/externally, which can create anxiety and a sense of extreme pressure. While this provides incredible exposure, it can also be a bit overwhelming. Pressure & Anxiety: Given the ambitious culture and high stakes, there’s a lot of pressure to perform. While this is great for career growth, it can also create stress, especially for those still finding their footing.

Pros

You will get this notion reading other reviews that Rokt is a unique place to work. The culture is obsessed with moving fast, change and never being comfortable. What's cool, is that is paired with an equal obsession for personal autonomy, responsibility and ownership. What does that mean? It means you need to be up for competing with the absolute smartest people in their field, and being asked to do things that are way outside your comfort zone. If you thrive in that kind of environment you will get more out of working for Rokt than any other role, company or team you've ever been a part of.

Cons

Everything in the 'pros' i've outlined can be construed as 'cons' - and that's the only real con about Rokt. It is not for everyone. Glassdoor asks "would you recommend Rokt to a friend?" and since working at here, I now realize how ineffective this question is as a mechanism for 'rating' a workplace. I absolutely wouldn't recommend Rokt to everyone - but the people I do recommend it to are the people who crush it in the environment i describe in the 'pros' section. In the same way I wouldn't recommend everyone who knows how to cook go and work for a Michelin starred chef - where people go to see how good they can be. The same applies with Rokt.
