      Pros

      Root is a small company that is working hard to change a huge industry. There is a great deal of focus on accomplishing their goals and prioritizing the most important things. My role allows me a good deal of freedom to approach problems in different ways, and working with lots of smart and talented people makes it a great experience.

      Cons

      As a small organization, sometimes pressing issues arise that need to be dealt with quickly by anyone available. Still, leadership is good about understanding that these issues exist and not expecting unrealistic results.

      Pros

      Humbling and inspiring to work with so many world-class professionals. We are happy, optimistic people, and communication is always transparent and honest. Hard working because we are inspired, not because we are forced to be!

      Cons

      I do not like big cities! But Columbus is not too bad. Startup life can be a little crazy and unpredictable, never know what problem is going to arise each day; though this is also what makes my job so interesting.
