Pros

The have good benefits and a good good reputation in the community. They truly care for the patients. A culture of respect is fostered and encouraged.

Cons

They want their nurses to go back to school (and even contribute financially) but then don't help them stay in the system. There is a push to have nurses get higher degrees. I went back to school and became a nurse practitioner but then I couldn't get hired in the system- they only wanted to hire nurse practitioners that had experience. My 17 years as a reliable, hard working RN didn't count towards anything. I would have loved to stay in the system.

Pros

I can't really think of any.

Cons

Everything you can possibly think of. Terrible company to work for. Management is awful and unresponsive. They make you use your PTO when buildings shut down due to unforeseen issues that aren't your fault at all. Favoritism. Pay is terrible.

Pros

vacation time decent pay decent equipment Good benefits

Cons

They over work their employees and under staff the departments. They want the most amount of work out of the least amount of employees. If someone quits, it takes months to get a new person in and that's if the position even gets approved to be posted. Meanwhile, the other employees in that department have to work harder to make up for that lost position. Some employees are thrown around to other locations and have to work different shifts and times to compensate for less staff. They hire you and tell you that you will work at a certain location and have a certain type of schedule. Once you move here and start working, they tell you that you are going to work at all the locations and start changing your schedule all around.
