Pros

The pay, bonuses, benefits, and discounts. The manager level and below care and support one another. There were many good people that used to work there that made it fun.

Cons

You can't trust the Directors and senior leadership. They spin information to make it palatable while they simultaneously pull the rug out from under you. The corporate team lacks integrity, honesty, and empathy, especially those in HR who treat their employees poorly. The company values are simply words on paper and that's it. Many really good people have voluntarily left due to the toxic environment and culture that exists.

Pros

Friendly people, opportunity to move around (mainly in Allocation), wide breadth of knowledge across the department, consistent company performance, thorough training program. Overall, a good place to begin your career in analytics or retail, but don't stay much longer than you need to.

Cons

Morale is seriously lacking in the Allocation department, a lot of unhappy people looking for jobs elsewhere. Very high turnover, lack of trust, and micro-managing create an unfavorable working environment. A lot of times - in Assortment Management especially - you wonder if what you're doing is actually making any impact, aside from making your manager look good. Pointless is a good word to describe some endeavors in Allocation. Some other cons include mediocre benefits, low pay, dysfunctional partnerships across teams and departments, and boredom. There are too many people in Allocation, creating imbalanced workloads and unnecessary middle-management.

Pros

Get to work with great people and meet new people on a daily basis. Not to mention you don't have to worry about not having enough hours to fill the week.

Cons

Wish I could speak about cons but as of right now don't seem to have or foresee any. Pay could always be better.
