Hello, and thank you for being a part of the Rotary team. We could not accomplish our global efforts without all of your contributions. Because of this, your feedback is very important to us. Professional development is one of our core values at Rotary. We provide a variety of in-person, and online trainings that are available to our staff members. Our recent training topics included: Assertiveness in the Workplace, Giving and Receiving Feedback, Interviewing and Hiring, Business Etiquette, and many more. We’ve also introduced our Leadership Attribute Model that allows employees of all levels to identify their areas of strength and opportunity, so they can create a career path within Rotary. Once an employee has taken the opportunity to self-assess their attributes, they are encouraged to create a professional development plan to determine goals and the actions needed to reach them. While adding talent to Rotary is always important, we believe that cultivating the existing talent among our staff is what really sets us apart from other organizations. If you'd like to discuss these areas further, we encourage you to reach out at GlobalPeopleandTalent@rotary.org. - RI Global People and Talent Team

Pros

Work with great colleagues and volunteers in a diverse, globally focused environment. This is an organization with a real mission, which is open about the need to undergoing further change to ensure the work we do has real impact. I work in the Communications area and the culture is very positive. It’s great to work with people who want to make a difference! The leadership is strong. Changes have been made in particular this past year to improve the work we do.

Cons

Challenging at times to work with volunteers.
