Commissionless Recruiting?

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

There are some great people to work with depending on your team and location

Cons

-Monday morning meetings ran by a CEO who likes to hear himself ramble and has no real experience in staffing and recruiting. -NO COMMISSION on contingency or contract sideThey try to make it a flex but it's really because they're cheap. Recruiting is a sales driven environment, lack of commission means lack of motivation. -Cultish vibes (AIKIDO is corny). Every large company is guilty of this, but no different here. -Offshoring everything overseas. Opening offices and growing teams in India. Brazil and Phillipines is displayed as a sign of growth, but it's really a focus on cheap labor -leadership speaks in platitudes. It's supposed to be motivating but it's recycled self help and podcast quotes from them

Pros

I was lucky to be part of a great team with some wonderful co-workers and peers. Better training than other companies I’ve seen. Decent pay

Cons

-The company’s current direction seems to be moving many teams offshore -Bonus structure never explained -Absolute worst benefits I’ve ever had. Expect to pay very high monthly healthcare costs with high deductibles and poor coverage. -high turnover has lead to a poor understanding of processes which requires extra work because you have to double check the work of peers

Pros

First couple of weeks were very welcoming. There are some dedicated employees that glued people together and hope the organization acknowledge their contributions.

Cons

Depend on one's manager - My manager and team leads in my division are not strategic and not hands on. Only used theories as solutions and brush off inputs, suggestions and questions they are not familiar. Instead of hands-on, only googled and pull information from internet to apply as guides. Unfair job assignments and not enough work to help recruiters to meet metrics. Lack of internal process and structure. No proper onboarding training and most scheduled sessions were cut short. Feedback provided to manager but just shrugged off. This appears to happen frequent. Questions about tools and processes left unanswered. For a staffing firm that provide advice and services to customers and talked big on DEI are lacking big time on knowledge and internal structure to support employees to do their jobs and those impacted by layoff. From the time I started to the time I left, many have either left or laid off. Management is not empathetic and do not share information clearly.
