Pros

When I started here just a few years ago, I never expected to love (not like, LOVE) my job, but the values and compassion that SCORR demonstrates to their employees has sealed the deal. First off, regardless of what other reviews say, I have seen the full team, and especially the leadership team, treat me like family. They respect work/life balance, they want clients that will be great partners and create a challenging but enjoyable environment, and they care about my home/family life and always respect when that needs to take precedence. I have also received ample opportunities for mentorship and career development across all levels of the leadership team, demonstrating that they want me to excel in my career. This is an agency, and with that comes a fast-paced environment. Personally, that's what I thrive in, but I understand it's not for everyone. There are times where the workload will be heavier and you'll have to put in overtime. I would be shocked to find an agency that doesn't go through those periods. But again, management respects our work/life balance and always makes sure we have what we need in those busy periods, and ensures it isn't a constant by keeping a close eye on our client portfolios. I won't lie and say everything is sunshine and rainbows. I've had clients who have been bad partners, there can be workplace conflict, there have been fires to put out, but each time I've faced adversity in my role, our leadership team has been there to offer advice, tools and assistance however they can. I am extremely proud to be a part of the SCORR team and would recommend this company to anyone searching!

Cons

I can't say I have any issues with the company itself. When people struggle here, it's because they don't enjoy a fast-paced environment, don't have the drive to continue pushing themselves beyond the expected, or don't look/ask for the opportunities in front of them. SCORR is a workplace ideal for those who like to overachieve, and if that's not your mindset it may not be the right place for you.
