Pros

Nothing at all, it was a terrible experience.

Cons

Leadership team lacks corporate experience or any experience outside of their tiny agency life. Their processes are ridiculous and they use a cookie cutter approach to creativity and marketing, Most of their leadership team grew up working at SCORR, so they were brainwashed early and are now sucked in. Clearly this agency is filled with fake leadership that can tell people what they want to hear but their actions and behaviors don’t align. It’s pretty obvious just be reading these latest reviews from employees. Clearly they are all staged…probably ordered by management and told to leave reviews on the company. Must be why all the reviews just so happen to be posted within day/days of each other. Disgusting. Pathetic. Desperate. Fake. Laughable. But it also makes sense since that can’t seem to retain anyone they hire unless they started when they were 18.

Pros

I worked at SCORR for almost 14 years and though I decided to leave, it was a tough decision. This company cares about its employees and puts in the time to provide support, guidance, mentorship, and advice to help you be successful. I joined SCORR as an account manager and through all the experience I gained was promoted to senior account manager, senior director account management, director of business development, and senior director of business development. You can forge your own path with SCORR, and you get what you put into the company, and it pays off! The people are a big benefit of working at SCORR and everyone lives out the company's values and wants you to succeed. The team is so talented and it is hard to come by a full service agency that truly has expertise in all facets of marketing - strategy, branding, copywriting, creative, interactive/web, market intelligence, content development, video, digital, media, public relations, trade shows, sales, and more. The people and company take a lot of pride in their work, and put their hearts behind it to ensure our clients are successful. The clients and focus on the drug development industry are differentiators from other marketing agencies. The clients appreciate SCORR and its people, and it shows in how they treated me (and our team) like a member of their own team. I was able to gain extraordinary experience by working with SCORR's leadership directly as well as reporting into the C-suite on the client side.

Cons

Not everyone is built for agency life, and that is okay. Good qualities to have are being driven, able to work independently but also collaboratively, passionate, dependable, organized, strategic/thoughtful, and more.

Pros

SCORR Marketing completes an annual review of employee benefits and has made significant improvements during the six years that I have been employed with them. SCORR also has an employee driven culture committee to ensure there is a good balance of work and fun.

Cons

Nothing to report for cons.
