Unrealistic expectations from management. Upper management extremely unprofessional and caddy towards nurses. Nurses are easily burnt out due to poor time due to overbooking.

I worked for this company for only a few weeks. The training was minimal, despite being sent out to another state for 5 days. Essentially non existent communication from the manager, who lives in another state and is not able to be on location. Despite asking around, I was not able to find out when my first official day would be until the day of and I was “late”, worst day of my life due to having 23 appointments in 6-7 hours. Mind you, I’ve essentially had 4 days of training and now I’m at this location by myself, with no one to consult about questions. This doesn’t seem safe. Receptionist also had no idea what was going on, seemed checked out/not invested in their job. Was given attitude about working “the days I was hired for” by the manager, but then was scheduled on all kinds of days that I hadn’t agreed to with no conversation beforehand. It took everything I had to show up on the last day that I worked. I’ve had many jobs over the last 20 years and have never worked for a company for less than a year, so only making it a couple weeks with SEV is a big deal for me.
