Pros

The work schedule was flexible and it provided a nice work/ life balance. Free laser and a few exceptional coworkers

Cons

There is no unity or organization at all. No regard or respect for staff from management. It’s a sink or swim environment that is managed by individuals with no background in medicine and little management experience. Upper management never shows their faces in office. Overall the work environment has a vibe of high stress and unprofessionalism. Unfortunately, I would not recommend working here.

Pros

Great nurses, tips are good.

Cons

You will see 20-30+ clients per day and get overworked. The pay can be better for such a “faith driven” company.

Pros

My trainer was amazing and the team at the Hermosa, CA location (not including district manager or HR or any of the 100 and counting upper management ppl there are -absolutely ridiculous) -reviews, READ THE REVIEWS ** thank god I saw the reviews for this place so I wasn’t tooooo shocked that I had to quit so soon and I still made sure I had other jobs lined up and I’m employed at another place thankfully or I would’ve been screwed if I had ONLY had sev as my one and only source of income.

Cons

So much.. Let’s start with parking!! I just quit my SECOND day before it even began because no one explained the parking situation there to me and how it would cost me $16-$20 A DAY to just WORK there.. making $16.50 an hour? More like $14.50 if you subtract how much you’re paying for parking EACH day.. *beware please* You only get reimbursed for parking AFTER your first paycheck. You have to keep screenshots of all of your parking tickets you’ve paid for a little over two weeks before you get the money back (is what I heard) parking is a nightmare at Hermosa Beach location. Oh make sure you’re checking out the prices of parking meters too like there’s a new update for June 22nd, 2023 where the $1.25 parking meters will now be $2.. and that’s like the cheapest you’ll find it around there.. *if you don’t have savings already put aside for just parking alone, keep in mind you will have to have money set aside at least $200 or more maybe a month just to park around the area to WORK there* -working 10 hour days stuck at a desk, left feeling unfulfilled and dissatisfied with your day ending in nothing but exhaustion. I can only imagine how some people stay longer than a day there.. -10 hour shifts easily become 11-12 hours due to staying longer (you’re not supposed to but some people stay longer bc of HOW much work needs to get done and there’s so much to do during the day to take care of, some things get left behind. Like for example, flower display/cleaning tasks/taking photos to send to managers of the displays (tasks that are prioritized but clearly there is barely ANY time during the shift to get it done bc you are so focused on replying to clients, rescheduling and taking care of those in house or helping those who want to schedule/cancel.. it’s a lot) PLUS the drive. If you’re like me and you’re 30 mins away (that’s with traffic) it’s easily an hour of driving per day. Soo add all of that time up and you’re left with barley anything.. -I can tell from the first day priorities are out of whack there with this company. I can also tell that there are so many people who do care about their job and are passionate about what they do, however, it’s clear that getting burnt out there happens often because upper management does not care like they should.. I mean the LEAST they could do is have a better more comfortable set up for the receptionists (swivel chair not swiveling, desk was too tall for me so I was hunched over trying to stay on the counter to type or write, super cold and stuck with a small heater that barely kept my ankles warm haha) -obviously high turn over rate. *I gave notice and called ahead of time to the DM and let them know why I wouldn’t be returning (instead of being a no call/no show) I only received an email from someone different about disclosing trade stuff like no concern for me whatsoever so that says a lot there.
