Pros

None none none none none

Cons

Rude management, will push you and tell you to hurry up, will schedule 4 people for one time slot and expect you to turn on your gods power to somehow do their service, education, charting, answer questions etc. always out of supplies - the rooms are never stocked and they always blame it on you- always. Glad I escaped their prison

Pros

free laser... kind of? Beautiful place to work & a christian company (which i loved).

Cons

in order to get free laser both you and the nurse need to be clocked off, however, you still need to clean after the nurse would finish lasering you so not a lot of nurses want to stay longer to give you a laser treatment. also, working as a receptionist i witnessed a lot of racist incidents (in my opinion) of management constantly making a ton of exceptions at their mercy. It was not a 1 rule for all establishment and more often than not, they only made exceptions for white women rather than women of color. they also have a bonus system for employees of who sell the most packages.. however, the employees would sit right next to each other so it became a rat race of who could check out a guest first and seems unfair todo because it creates a hasty work environment. Also, working at the time at the hermosa beach location, some of the employees were big gossipers. (hopefully they aren't employed at this time). I was told there was nasty girl drama in the past which seemed to be current when I was working there. Also, they were so over booked, booked out months in advance it was a pain to schedule clients as I was constantly being yelled at, but when management was in the office they would constantly make exceptions to these clients to make their day easier.. however, once they left I wasn't allowed to make the same exceptions on my own... once again- at (Their) mercy. Also, this place was a joke during the pandemic as they made it seem they were taking "precautionary measures to clean in between clients" when in reality we were booking clients every 5 minutes, Literally. We barely had time to take a lunch, let alone 15 minute breaks. They even had receptions checking the nurses charts? From clock in til the moment you clock out receptionists are busy without a second to spare. Lastly, in the prior hermosa beach location i was at, the A/C would CONSTANTLY shut down which had me working in extremely hot and uncomfortable temperatures and water not SOMETIMES provided to us... management would get us mini water bottles and if we ran out, too bad. had to wait for delivery. (not having water supply for employees in illegal)

Terrible & unorganized

Pros

Beautiful location, ability to interact with many new people daily.

Cons

Extremely unorganized, managed by individuals with no medical background. Sink or swim environment. Higher ups who never show face at location will blame techs and nurses for anything that goes wrong. Will accuse staff of not clean machines well enough, when a machine breaks down simply due to wear and tear. Will overbook nurses/ techs, then be breathing down their necks to get patients “in and out” despite being double booked. Pay is terrible, despite how much money nurses/ techs make the company. No raises or bonuses, you have to rely on tips. Management will change your schedule at the last minute with no explanation and expect staff to revolve their entire world around the company. When calling in sick, the company will say things such as “can’t you tough it out” “we really need to work as a team” “we really need you to come in”. Overall not a good work environment. There is high amounts of pressure or on staff to work overtime, and when staff are unable they will be told that they are not being “team players”.
