Pros

Co-workers and local leadership are great and very supportive. The job itself is very fulfilling

Cons

Pay is low based on cert requirements and weekends holidays required based on local market. Corporate and regional leadership either don’t care or are oblivious to ongoing issues with the contract that have been there since the beginning. They are unable to hire new people to replace departures but still want to work the people that stay on contract ridiculous hours instead of relaxing some requirements (weekend and holiday TPI) until they can get people hired. This leads to more and more people leaving with no replacements in sight including senior level local leadership.

We appreciate you taking the time to review SMS and I'm sorry you have not had a better experience! We have heard the concerns of our team and a member of our corporate team has been working closely with our customer to temporarily modify some of the TPI requirements making less of a requirement for extra work from our great Montgomery team. We also added a shift differential for those who are asked to work hours outside their standard shift to help compensate for the inconvenience of having to work a weekend or holiday. The TPI requirement is indeed a government contract requirement and our contract does have several 24/7 coverage positions, however these can also be great opportunities for those wishing to earn extra income or working an alternate shift to help with family requirements. We agree that we have a great team in Montgomery and hope some of the recent changes have helped ease concerns within the team, while continuing to support our customer's needs. Cons

This company has treated me (and us) very good. If I've a question or problem, they are always available and help work through things that might need resolution. I've no complaints.
