Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. While we don't actually do sales as a water provider and power utility, we wonder if this review is for Salt River Project or perhaps another SRP-named company?

Pros

Great benefits, pays better than other governments, good work/life balance, job security, hourly jobs pay really well. Employees are encouraged to take at least one whole week off a year, they ask you to stay home when you're sick so you don't infect the whole office but also so you get better faster. Salary positions don't overwork you. Managers are really interested in employee development which is great, and they REALLY value education which is awesome. Hourly employees are unionized which seems to work well for them. AMAZING retirement package with both company-match 401k and a pension. Most everyone is really nice and helpful. All of my managers have been really great.

Cons

Pays less than the private sector (for salary jobs, but again the benefits are amazing). Everything moves at a slow pace, so be ready to wait on your projects. Can be tough to move up since nobody ever leaves, and some of the older employees can see themselves as your boss too, which is frustrating. It's a conservative workplace, so just be ready for that, if you catch my drift.
