Pros

Starting as a shift manager in Burger king back in 2007 I progressed to Unit Manager then to Multi unit manager. I have worked in a number of airports and rail stations around the UK but also overseas including Ireland, Norway and the Netherlands. During this I completed a diploma with SSP in conjunction with Coventry University. I have also opened a number of new businesses. Now I'm an Operations Manager responsible for an area of the country. The biggest pro for me is development personally and within the company.

Cons

No cons for me at the moment

Pros

Easy to get job. Nice Manager and Coworkers.

Cons

The constant pressure to get customers to leave positive reviews on Eat On The Move is unbelievably stressful, its embarrassing and shameful to have to beg customers to leave you feedback when we are charging so much money for products, I'm absolutely mortified every time I serve someone, I pray they pay by card so I dont have to tell them out loud how much they need to pay, We are also getting our rotas two days before the week starts because apparently someone in HQ keeps reducing how much the manager is allowed to spend on us working so she can only tell us what we are working last minute or put rotas up and keep having to change them. So you can not plan anything on yours day off as you dont know when they will be. The back of house facilities are shockingly filthy and unhygienic, not because they are not being cleaned but because the areas are so old and not repaired, my manager looked so ashamed when I told her about it and she said she has tried for years to get things repaired and replaced but HQ wont allow it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It's great to hear you have a nice manager and co-workers. It's a practice in most hospitality establishments to ask customers to leave reviews as that's how we get feedback in order to improve our service. I can't see which site you're in to comment on the back of house facilities, but we do have a lot of sites in train stations which have been around for a long time so the age of the building is beyond our control which I'm sure you can appreciate. We do have a maintenance team for any repairs required which need to be reported by your manager through the correct process. Thanks again for the feedback, I'll pass on to the senior management team for due consideration.
