Pros

Great salary, which I think is primarily due to most of their employees working onsite, so they have very low overheads at their corporate offices.

Cons

Since 80-90% of their employment opps are based on contracts, your job will likely be over when the contract is over.

Pros

Good work/life balance, obtainable expectations, good communication between employees at various offices, average health benefits, new headquarters in Warrington, PA as of 2011 in completely new building.

Cons

Limited growth opportunities, lack of direction from specific managers, extremely large gap in salaries between Director and Manager level, headquarters are located in undesireable area.

Pros

Generic temp company - some positions probably good - some definitely bad

Cons

Asked for feedback from my Sabre rep after about a month in. I had always been told by the Client team that things were going well. A week later Sabre rep came back with an HR form that said I wasn't attending meetings, wasn't asking for work, wasn't learning. I know, I'm complaining so I MUST be the bad employee...but the items weren't true - considering the client team hadn't given me any indication over the month that I was performing less than what would be expected for a new employee. So I went through the 'feedback meeting' and was told that I HAD to sign as just a formality...Believing that it was 'just a formality,' bit me in the rear later... I decided I would work to show I was invested in the job. I was already attending 13 client project meetings a week minimum (how does anyone get any work done you say?)...so I over-attended meetings (went to more if I found out there were more scheduled). I volunteered for more projects. I tried learning as much as I possibly could. (And BTW - I was exhausted most days from this). A year later, the Client team was still acting like everything was fine and dandy - telling me how great it was to see me take on more responsibility. Great! I have an annual meeting with my Sabre rep...not thinking there was anything wrong, maybe I'd get 'meets expectations' (the 'standard' go to for most employees)...nope! Fired from the position...and what did I get told? Well, you signed the (HR document) during your first month improvement meeting, so since there was no improvement, this was expected. What? If I had known asking for early feedback to improve myself would have led to that, I wouldn't have asked for feedback. And it wasn't even that Sabre would offer me another position to make sure it was that it was really a 'me' issue...I am a temp after all...nope...fired outright. If your client team doesn't want you, there's no room for you at the inn. So while some temps here have good experiences, there are others who don't. Just be aware the smiles they give you are just a facade. Protect yourself.
