Thank you for your review. We are sorry you left with the impression that we’re trying to seem big, and that some of your team members seemed fake. (It’s so frustrating to feel like the people around you aren’t sincere.) We like to think our associates as team players and strive to have an open and honest work environment. Hopefully we’re getting a little better every day. Re: the size of the organization. We actually try to appear neither big or small, but rather as we are … big enough to do the job, small enough to provide personal service. SageNet has been around for 20 years. While we have steadily grown both organically and through acquisition, we hope to retain our small company atmosphere and entrepreneurial spirit. If you’d like to share more details about about your experiences with the people in your office or the systems and processes you think could use some TLC, please let us know at HRVM@sagenet.com.

We are so sorry to hear you had a poor experience, we hate to lose any member of our team, particularly an associate with more than 5 years’ experience! We’re now celebrating our 20th anniversary in a very dynamic industry, and as we evolve, we strive to empower our associates to grow and succeed as well. We regret we were unable to work through the challenges mentioned above while you were here, but would appreciate the opportunity to better understand your experience in order to continue to improve. Pros

Best employees are constantly leaving the company, which leaves behind lots of openings and makes promotional opportunities frequent for those who stick around. This is a good opportunity to build your resume quickly. Very high job security for those who want to stay. Nobody is ever fired, even if they should be. Executive management is very straightforward and honest about their intent to turn our workforce from a high-end NOC to a typical call center with a revolving door. They've already changed my title from "NOC Analyst" to "Customer Service". Despite the call-center mentality, there is very little management supervision.

Cons

Company spends millions to make things LOOK nice inside and out. But all the tools and systems you have to work with are totally broken and they have no intention of fixing them. They expect you to just work around every internal problem. Expect embarrassing times with customers waiting on you while you frantically try to reload a program that crashed mid-call. Very high-stress environment for those who want to do their job well. Job security goes both ways. People you depend on to do your job won't do theirs, and they will never see any repercussions. You'll probably just have to do their job too if you want to get anything done. But expect no recognition or compensation for any extra work you do outside your normal job scope. Less management also means less support. You're on your own to figure everything out. Even if you find a superior willing to try to help, they probably won't know what to do any better than you do. You can do the same job at several other companies and make more money.

Thank you for being part of the SageNet team, and for your thoughtful feedback. As you know, our NOCs are the nerve centers of our customer networks and central to our Managed Network Services. Working in the NOC can be stressful and rewarding, and we are continuously looking for ways to improve operations. This means ongoing expansion (particularly in Tulsa and Marietta), ongoing refinement of tools and processes, and most importantly, a well-trained and motivated workforce. All geared toward providing a better customer experience, and a better associate experience. We are sorry that you’re having a less than stellar experience, feeling like you don’t have the proper tools to thrive. We’d like to hear more about your concerns and thoughts on how we may be able to improve, so please give us a shout at HRVM@sagenet.com!
