Pros

Flexable, Ok job if you are in school or pursuing other interests.

Cons

Very inconsistent schedule. Some weeks you wont work and other weeks are expected to work 15+ hour shifts. Not a career. If you are looking to move up in the company it is very hard. The promotion system is not performance based. If there is an available position within the company they do not let you apply/interview for it. They just give it to someone they like. Some managers are fantastic.. and others are not. Clients can be rude, and condescending, and you are expected to treat them like royalty. Disorganized work environment. Some projects are a complete mess and you are supposed to put a smiley face on and act like "everything is ok" Low pay. No benefits.

Pros

You will receive some agency and office experience. You'll meet and assist some high end clients. Good opportunities to network.

Cons

No room for advancement. No support from management. A very disorganized environment. Management is very condescending and likes to place blame on the assistance when they can't get their business together. Awful pay. Inconsistent hours. As a college graduate, avoid this place! They will hire anyone off the street, even high school drop outs. Turn over rate is very high.

Pros

Flexible hours. Nice people Free food Overtime I have to put a 20 word minimum of pros, but there aren't that many pros

Cons

Work overload Unrealistic expectations to the client Terrible pay Sometimes you can get stuck at work for up to 15 hours No breaks-you're usually too busy to take a break...scheduling errors doesn't permit for proper coverage. Bratty clients. Terrible execution of goals, many errors happen due to terrible project managers leading QAs to fix their mistakes. Poor management Too many to list $25 HOLIDAY BONUS IN THE FORM OF AN AMERICAN EXPRESS GIFT CARD. -this disgruntled the whole office, to the point that someone quit the next day. Very low work moral Everyone seems unhappy
