Pros

In a high needs area so jobs are fairly secure for long term employment. Great educational incentives and staff is paid competitively.

Cons

Some parts of hospital has poor design construction particularly in the ER setting. Often not able to accommodate patient demand and process falls into bottleneck effect.

Pros

The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. Management is great about working with staff as far as adjusting schedules if you want to attend school or have some type of emergency. There are also great education incentives. You can almost always pick up extra shifts if you want to make a little extra money.

Cons

It is sometimes hard to get days off if you do not plan far in advance. Frequent mandates.

Pros

Very flexible with college schedule. You build up PTO.

Cons

supervisors let favoritism affect the job, such as letting a person they like get away with not doing their job so the others have to pick up the slack. The nurses and doctors tend to look down on you and are rude.
