Great workmates, they are fun and helpful The game ideas are fun Great environment, clean toilet

Cons

There are too many managers but lack of executors Forced to work overtime and holiday without ot pay The managers are lack of experience, no directions, but too much fantasy, and feeling too good about themselves The boss will only take care of the managers

Pros

7 hour shifts Paid breaks Free games Friendly staff atmosphere

Cons

At first, Sandbox VR promised that mistakes were human and that honest errors would never be punished as long as we learned from them. That turned out to be a complete lie. After I sprained my ankle, an injury that occurred outside of work, I still showed up for my shifts until they sent me home. I kept management updated until I could return, and there were no warnings or issues at the time. Yet somehow, this injury was later held against me. I received a single conversation about being distracted on my phone (despite it being on my break), apologised sincerely, and committed to improving, which I did. I was never issued any formal warnings after that. Weeks later, I called in sick (with a doctor’s note ready) and, despite communicating clearly about a train delay the next day, I arrived 15 minutes late. I still showed up, greeted everyone, and was ready to work only to be publicly fired in front of customers and staff with no prior indication that my job was at risk. Management initially claimed there were “no reasons” for the termination, but when pressed, cited the sprained ankle (again, which THEY sent me home for), one sick call, and one lateness which were all fully communicated, documented, and minor. Even worse, I later found out they falsely told current employees that I had been “warned multiple times” before being fired which is a complete fabrication. There were no such warnings, no disciplinary record, and no meetings recorded. The reality: 1. Management here creates a hostile environment where you’re punished for being human. 2. They use fear to prevent sick leave, despite claiming they care about staff wellbeing. 3. They gaslight employees about conversations that never happened. 4. They show zero professionalism when terminating contracts, not even bothering to do it privately. (One coworker was FIRED over a speakerphone call.) I cannot stress enough: be very cautious about working here. No job is worth the humiliation, dishonesty, and poor treatment that is normalized at Sandbox VR.
