Pros

-Great Coworkers -Sometimes Flexible Schedules

Cons

-Don't Expect A Raise. Company Bragged About How We Get $2 More Than Minimum Wage Back When It Was $16 An Hour. Now That It’s $18.07 An Hour They Only Matched It. -Don’t Expect A Performance Review It Will Never Happen. -Don’t Expect To Have Your Breaks On Time. Since You’re Understaffed Majority Of The Time You Will Usually Have To Run Rooms Longer Without Anyone To Replace You. -As An Employee You Are Usually At Fault For Anything That Goes Wrong. -Little To No Training And Will Most Likely Need To Start Running Rooms By Yourself After A Day Or Two Of Shadowing Someone. -Company Gets Mad When You Talk About Wages.

Pros

Pretty cool coworkers, cool equipment.

Cons

Your coworkers will be fine, but the management will just let you down day after day until you decide to give up and walk out. The recent management team at the San Mateo location lasted just under a month before they walked out. Good luck getting time off. I'm not even talking about requests for consecutive days. You'll never get a single day off approved. You'll be waiting until Friday night to get your schedule for the following Monday. You'll never know when you can live your life outside of this job and they'll act like you're in the wrong for wanting to do so. You'll work 12 bookings in a row by yourself because they don't schedule even half the amount of people required to operate the business. When the equipment malfunctions or breaks you'll be stuck trying to fix it in front of angry customers with people who were never trained on how to solve the issues because all of the competent people who could fix the issues in a timely manner have quit. You'll deal with people who refuse to wear masks and entitled corporate bookings filled with people who treat you like garbage. And for all of that you will get paid less than you can get at McDonald's flipping burgers or at any other store in any mall that sandbox vr is located in.
