Cons
The management is in my opinion inexperienced and disorganized, with very poor strategy. They have raised lots of funding from top investors like a16z, BOND capital, and Alibaba but grossly mismanaged it and spent erroneously, leading to multiple layoffs in 2023. At no point in my time there did I get confidence in the company's direction or strategy, as they all seemed detached and like they didn't know what to do. They hired ahead of revenue in 2023 with the hope that they could successfully raise more money in the fall to sustain the headcount and overhead. This failed, and the company laid off lots of people as a result. It is incredibly amateurish to bank on an unknown like investor funding to fund your current operations. Their fundraising failed because investors could smell their desperation, saw the bad business numbers, and stayed far away. You should too.
