COVID Hit - They laid me off without specifically telling me so
Pros
Some of the co workers were down to earth and nice.
Cons
Everything else was horrible. The management at my store was too busy micro-managing to realize the employees were not being given any breaks. We were being paid bare minimum wage for a job that requires a degree of technical capabilities. (Flipping burgers are Mc Donald's is guaranteed to pay more than here) When given a task that is recommended for two employees to pursue, management question why it takes only one employee more time than two to perform. Business is run on an appointment basis, most of the time rooms are over-booked or not enough rooms are booked. "Break Room" is a small closet (smaller than the restroom) it literally is the closet (management informed me that the break room was built to be a closet) Customer Service Representatives are forced to solicit the business by walking around outside with a vest, and are encouraged to take as much of the equipment (gun) outside to the public and risk being identified as a potential shooter/terrorist. (This persisted even after being threated to have fines written up for soliciting the business to shoppers at the mall) At the end, after COVID hit, I was called by some new HR or management person, and told to sign a form that intended my employment to be "on hold" until COVID was over, some time later, the store had opened back for business and I was not called back for my job (I was let go and no one told me otherwise) Even after I spoke with HR, they informed me my position with the company existed and they would update me (they never did) The whole company is a joke, they run on Chinese work standards, so expect: no breaks, minimum pay, and disrespect. Good luck on your position with the company.
