      Pros

      Before Sanmina took over, SCI was great

      Cons

      Too many to list. No way I would ever go back or recommend this place to anyone other than for an assembly line job where no one expects anyone to care.

      Pros

      Some really good engineers and management, but they are not in SJ. They are in another state.

      Cons

      This is not a development company. It is a manufacturing slave company. There is no product development. Sanmina is also known as Slavemina. Policies, especially IT policies are engineering and growth hindrances. There is no Wi-Fi for employees. The company is a decade behind the rest of Silicon Valley. Forget about competitive benefits. There are a lot of people that wear grey smocks that look like prisoners walking around. There are a lot of TVs just hanging around for no reasons other than propaganda, waste of money. Offices are pretty much empty. They removed SCI from the name, but it's still the same Sanmina name and logo. I don't understand why there's a picture of the same woman pointing to some lights that you are forced to look at everywhere, everyday, and everytime you log into email.
