Quickly declining as a place to work

Pros

-Work from home flexibility -Great benefits

Cons

Used to be a great place to work, but after the company became a stand-alone company, senior leadership has changed company culture from people first to a "Metrics and data based company." Expectations and responsibilities grow each year for employees, with no additional support or compensation. Employees are no longer valued like they used to be.

Pros

If you are looking for an extraordinary company to work for, with a collaborative, mission-driven culture that inspires employees to feel motivated and engaged, look no further than Savvas. Strong leadership consistently provides clear, well-communicated direction, vision, and objectives that guide both everyday and long-term strategic decisions. This has resulted in creating sustainable growth for the organization and fostering a positive work environment where people understand their goals and know how to achieve them. The CEO has made it a priority to create a strong company culture that puts its people first. You truly feel appreciated, respected, and valued for who you are and the work you do. Savvas offers competitive salaries and a great benefits package that includes generous bonuses and 401(k) matches. The CEO has also gone to great lengths to ensure that health-care coverage remains affordable for employees, with the company year after year absorbing annual increases in premiums. While the work can be fast-paced, it is also quite fulfilling. And Savvas offers a manageable work-life balance that, in particular, helps employees with young children accommodate the demands of being a working parent. Employees looking to volunteer have opportunities to serve as a mentor to struggling readers or help schools prepare for the start of the new school year. I’ve worked for a number of other organizations in my career; Savvas, by far, is the best.

Cons

There really aren’t any that come to mind.
