Great, fast growing company at the heart of AI

Pros

Young team, great CEO, lots of care taken to get the right culture in a fast growing company (which is critical), huge market (and growing) the product set.

Cons

Culture of hustle and grit means you need to manage your time otherwise you can work long hours. But this isn't a culture where that's expected, so you just need to control your own working day to ensure you get done what you need to get done.

Culture and values really matter, Company insanely high potential

Pros

Mission-driven culture to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning is extremely compelling. The CEO and Head of HR are working really hard to create a culture of openness, support, and agency. Focusing on empowering employees, creating a culture of psychological safety, and a team-first ego-less workplace. There is a lot of autonomy and opportunity to make an impact. The company is noticeably diverse and inclusive (which is rare for a start-up of this size). The company is on a hockey-stick trajectory, which means huge career growth opportunities for every employee.

Cons

The downside of hockey-stick trajectory and the challenges of hiring in SF means hard work. Managers seem open to using outside vendors and resources to help bridge the gap and make sure employees don't burn out. Hiring is a priority.

Pros

- I love that we have all hands and eng demos every week. Very transparent culture where we can have collaborative discussions during these meetings. - Direct, honest, open culture. Feedback / discussions are encouraged. I feel empowered to voice my opinions. - Great benefits (high quality lunch and dinner , fun offsites, boba Fridays) - high potential for career growth (but you're expected to drive your outcomes!) - for a startup it's not as chaotic as one would expect (reorgs pivots etc) which has been refreshing

Cons

- team works pretty hard (I.e. I work around 45-50 hours a week) but flexible. I work from home sometimes to accommodate for my commute.
