-They treat the discount like its a gift from god, even though it costs scheels nothing -Management does not trust employees -Patdowns whenever entering store -Treats employees like second class citizens -Management encourages college students to drop out and work full time -Full Time vesting schedule for retirement program traps employees -On your feet all day -Asks you to put scheels in front of family, quote from boss "working at scheels requires sacrifice" -Pay is bad -Forced to clock out to go to the bathroom -Forces employees to ask permission to go to bathroom

Terrible managers. Most ASL’s are on a power trip which is comical because they are managers at a retail store. Worked here for a short while after grad school and was appalled by the work environment and lack of business acumen of ASL’s and SSM’. Pay is paltry and they lie to you about what you can realistically make. I made more working at a liquor store in college. And don’t expect to become an ASL unless you are a sycophant or best friend of another ASL. Don’t waste your time with this place.
