      A Great Change of Pace from the Big 4

      Pros

      - Provide training for certifications (CISA, CISSP, CIPP, etc.) - Amazing benefits (Insurance, matching 401(k), PTO) - Great pay for level of work performed. - Profit sharing (yes even for the 'little guy')

      Cons

      - Working from home all the time means no real social interaction with other employees except at events. - If you're coming from the Big 4, expect a change of pace in project timelines. Less people/chain of command means less bureaucracy and faster scheduled projects being completed.

      Best Job I've Ever Had

      Pros

      The pay and benefits are outstanding! When I read over the details of my offer, it seemed like it was too good to be true, but it really is that good!The work is challenging and rewarding. We work with a lot of different types of industries and get to see a lot of cool technology. The company has almost doubled in size since I started but it still has a small company feel where the managers and principals are very approachable.

      Cons

      As with any job where you are at the whim of clients, there are some times where you will have 3-4 projects happening at the same time. Managers try to schedule enough dedicated time for projects but with client delays, you will have some weeks where you are a little overwhelmed and have to work longer hours than usual. This typically evens out throughout the year and I feel like the work-life balance is pretty great.
