Good on paper but difficult middle management

Good pay, exceptional benefits, good continuing education opportunities, live anywhere and work remote, can stay in a role as long as you like because not an up-or-out workplace, diverse and responsive C-suite with good strategic vision and servant-style leadership, company-wide corporate trip

Cons

Lack of standardization and innovation, middle management does not take feedback from below, C-suite can be disconnected from day-to-day, middle management does not emulate the C-suite's leadership style or vision, when things get busy they get far too busy, popularity contest for opportunities and advancement, only hear from management team for critiques.

Flexible work times, great team, 401k match

Cons

Workload isn’t shared equally, you end up working more that 50hrs per week due to inexperienced juniors not completing tasks accurately, retesting and rework stuff that should have been done.

This is an area the executive team has discussed, and we received some great ideas from the managers on ways we can improve in this area. We have started to address these and have several projects this year that will streamline and automate the workflow. If you like a mix of working independently and within a team this is for you. No babysitting, you are trusted to get your work done and you should! Everything is put at your disposition to succeed. Really, if you have a good head, are responsible with your work, you would love working for Schellman. You get exposure to various companies and I found the best part of my job was working with my clients and having many opportunities to be their main point of contact. Teammate were incredible, I met some of the most amazing & smart people at Schellman! Management is really helpful and always available, you just have to ask!

Cons

The work can get repetitive, I mean how fun are compliance examinations really ? :), but, it does grow your expertise and make you a subject matter expert. The allowed timeline to complete the examinations are not always sufficient.
