We appreciate you sharing a review, and we hope we’ve alleviated some of your frustrations in the time since your post. Last year, we had a record number of promotions within the broader company, and between company gifts, our employee break for the holidays, and communications from our executive team, we really hope you felt how much our organization values you and how critical you are to our success. All of those things are considered as an important investment in our people—they represent big pillars of the culture here at Schellman, where we are trying to create a great workplace for employees. Of course, we’re always looking to improve how we compensate and reward talented people. With our company Reboot trip to Las Vegas, we can’t wait to show you how we’ll stay committed to making your experience with Schellman a great one.

Thanks so much for sharing feedback. We love hearing how our team members are really excited about our multi-faceted approach to providing time off and see the value in our Reboot trips, including the benefits of bringing the whole company together to get centered around our mission each year. And we agree, our 401k match is really above and beyond no matter what industry a person is in. We also hear you on the project timelines and staffing and we are currently working on solutions. Our hope is that by implementing new project management software, improving our internal processes for staffing, and staying out front with communications, it will smooth out any bumps that you may have experienced. Also, please bring up the internal mobility topic with a People Experience Manager if you feel comfortable – we are cross training to ensure people can find opportunities in other service lines. Of course, it’s also subject to business needs and availability. We hope you keep enjoying Schellman! We have a great team, and we’re glad you’re part of it.

Thanks for writing a review. We do our best to provide a great work environment for employees and we’re glad you saw value in our benefits package as well. While we’re sorry your experience with Schellman didn’t align with what we try and provide, we’re always trying to improve the support systems in place for employees. In 2025, we saw an opportunity to implement a Client Success Organization to remove administrative burden and ensure we walk into engagements well-aligned with client needs. It’s very important that we create great experiences for not only our clients, but our employees as well. We also can understand that some employees may have had negative experiences with Private Equity Firms in their career, but our leaders have always prioritized finding investors that readily buy into our established vision. Our plans to scale the organization while retaining the foundational culture we’ve built is something we take seriously, and we’ve found firms that understand that’s part of why we’re successful. So far, our partnerships have allowed us to grow year over year, invest in new technology, and expand our team significantly over the past few years. We hope you took measures to make your frustrations known within the organization – we have a People Experience team dedicated to finding ways to ensure we’re fair in our expectations of employees. We also have direct lines of communication to leadership via feedback@schellman.com where concerns reach the executive team directly.
