The Columbus team is great and committed to their work and helping you. People are always willing to offer a hand, whether it’s answering your questions or assisting with an engagement. It’s a great balance.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback! We appreciate hearing about your experience with the Columbus team. We agree that there are challenges in our industry, including a fast pace. We are growing quickly and adding many new positions this year to lessen the workload of current team members. We do care very deeply for our employees and want our team members to enjoy their day-to-day at Schellman, while maintaining a work-life balance. We encourage everyone to reach out to executives or provide further feedback to feedback@schellman.com.

Pros

Schellman has been the best company I've worked for in my career. They care about their people and actively work to fix pain points that are regularly identified through feedback that is actually acted on. The benefits are incredible and there is a constant drive to improve work/life balance at all levels of seniority. No better professional services firm to be working for right now, even after the private equity transition.

Cons

All the cons that come with any professional service job. Clients can delay or be demanding and the workload can definitely feel spiky at times.

Pros

The quality of the people and their interest in bringing me onboard properly was first rate. I especially appreciate the authenticity of interactions amongst all positions in the company from Senior Associates to CEO. All are approachable. Their methodologies rate amongst the best in the business.

Cons

I was the first Principal brought in as a direct hire. While the organization is understanding in the amount of new systems and process learning is needed to be productive, the company needs to be better prepared if larger acquisitions come in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback! We appreciate all the compliments as well as hearing about your personal experience with our first acquisition. We knew there would be opportunities for improvement. As such, we have updated our acquisition integration methodology to include better communication regarding the integration steps prior to closing. We have also added the requirement for in-depth training after closing. As always, please feel free to provide other ideas or further feedback to feedback@schellman.com.
