Pros

This is a very challenging place to work as a Freight Broker, and not in a good way. The workload is intense, support from management is inconsistent, and communication between departments is often poor. The focus is almost entirely on numbers, with little regard for employee development or work-life balance.

Cons

The workload in this freight broker position was extremely demanding with little training or structure. Expectations changed frequently, and communication between management and operations was inconsistent. Success depended heavily on existing relationships and luck rather than performance metrics. The stress level was high, and the commission structure didn’t fairly reflect the effort required. The team had some great people, but overall turnover was constant, and support from leadership was lacking.

Pros

The pay is not bad, but it could be better compared to J.B. Hunt.

Cons

Managers can be micromanaging you quite often.

Thanks for the review. We know our focus on our core value of Safety First can feel a little overbearing at times but it's to make sure drivers are safe on the road and get home to their family. Drive safe out there!

Pros

Good CDL training, paid training, low tuition buyout and only 9 month contract

Cons

Seems like if you work weekly you don't get very many miles. Always sending you home a day early.

Thanks for the review. We agree Schneider is a great place to start your truck driving career but it's also a great company to retire from one too. We have a hire-to-retire philosophy and many drivers that have over 10 or 20 plus years with us. Take care.
