      Pros

      Low level management is approachable. There are some very hard working nice people.

      Cons

      Pay. I’ve had to have a 2nd job the entire time I’ve worked here (10yrs). Education isn’t valued. Nepotism is how people get promoted. Healthcare has a high deductible & monthly payment. Dental doesn’t cover hardly anything.

      Expect to be worked 50-60+ hours per week.

      Pros

      People seem nice. All desks have 2 monitors.

      Cons

      Long hours. After hours work with no additional time off given. Example if you work all night (10+ hours) you are expected to work your normal schedule the next day. 50-60 hours a week are the norm. If you are voluntold to do something they will continue to take advantage of you and your work ethic. Work life balance is not a thing in IT at this company.

      Pros

      Schneider is a great company full of talented individuals dedicated to their careers. It's a large company and with that comes the opportunity to build on your success and move into new roles. It really is a strong company to work for with plenty of resources at your disposal to gain a high level of expertise in the field of transportation and logistics.

      Cons

      With all of the benefits that come along with working for a huge company there are also some challenges to be aware of. It pays to spend time in determining who you need to build strong working relationships with. In doing so, you will have what you need to help you be successful as you navigate through many large departments, all working on their own set of goals and objectives while also working towards the common goals.
