Pros

Other department's culture may be fine. CEO is a fine gentleman.

Cons

Way too much politics in the IT infrastructure department. IT infrastructure top management abuses power and has lost trust among the IT employees. Assistant managers are nothing more than puppets to the VP. No managers here, only assistant managers reporting to VP. The only manager got demoted to assistant manager. If you are innovative and/or driven, your time is limited. The mediocre employees will not only survive but thrive. IT VPs and assistant managers have their own pet employees. No matter how severe or how many complains are against those pet employees they are never been even warned. Organization is losing talented and dedicated workers so frequently. Once a great place to work now it has become one of the worst places to work.

Pros

Really good culture(everywhere else, except Infrastructure side), and benefits.

Cons

few really bad elements in the upper management that rots the place to an extend where goal-oriented folks want to run away from that place. HR is a joke there, completely blind all the malpractices of certain VPs.

Pros

Fully paid benefits guaranteed for at least the next two years, company supportive and open to feedback. They do make changes as best they can to try and accommodate employee feedback(not always possible, especially with economy factors). Highly talented team across the board, many people you can learn and grow from. Opportunity to progress in your career is available now more than before as we grow faster. Overall great openness and honesty amongst senior management. Co-workers become a second family, in a good way!

Cons

Salary can still be unfair... those coming from the outside generally get hired at higher starting pay than those being promoted from within(should be opposite!!). Sometimes there can be a significant gap in salary even when performance is better than those at higher pay. Incredibly high standards for management and employees can be stressful to meet expectations. Still inconsistency in what expectations are, and enforcement of expectations varies depending on who you report to. Meeting expectations can at times require a significant amount of additional time outside of work hours (for those salaried) .
