Pros

Good mission to serving members Great healthcare and 401K Team members in department are supportive of each other and willing to help. Hybrid Work available for some departments

Cons

Micromanagement is a significant concern. The department has experienced high turnover, a major red flag Stressful environment driven more by management practices than the -work itself. Reactive culture where concerns aren’t addressed until they become issues. Inconsistent expectations and shifting priorities without clear communication. Uneven treatment across the team, with inconsistent feedback and expectations. Minimal training or development opportunities for growth. Cautious atmosphere where employees hesitate to speak openly. Recognition is limited, with more focus on errors than accomplishments

Pros

They pay for healthcare for you and your family 100% They match up to 7% to your 401K Lots of team building events and flexible work schedule

Cons

Pay is low for workload and location They promote this “family” environment but it’s just another corporate job

Not worth it

Pros

The benefits and paid time off

Cons

Too much micromanaging, cultish behavior, acquaintances asking you to do work related tasks while you’re off the clock. Supervisors will go out of their way to maintain a good image for the credit union while lacking competence when it comes to being leaders. They barged in to the break room multiple times to tell me that my lunch/break was over when it was not. Supervisors drain morale by being control freaks and wanting every single thing their way regardless of any feedback given by anyone.
