SEL is a terrible place. They refuse to grow employees who are actively seeking it. Instead they string them along with vague feedback and promote new hires instead of growing those with seniority. Also, leadership has made their political leanings ABUNDANTLY clear and actively tries to sway employees to cast their votes in a particular way. Which might be an issue since SEL is a federal contractor. Also, SEL claims to have a strict Anti-THC policy, but that is enforced on a case by case basis. Also, members in various levels of leadership have been caught sexually harassing their subordinates and unfortunately SEL was slow to react in nearly every case until word began rapidly spreading through the company.

Most of the management team is home grown managers who have only worked at SEL and have no outside experience from industry to draw from. This lends itself to group think where no one challenges the status quo. Its been my experience that most people don't quit companies, they quit poor managers. That was my case.
