The company has a well-established reputation for quality products such as electrical protective relays, controllers, and meters, as well as well-regarded consulting services. so company stability is favorable. Co-workers are high-quality and more motivated than I've seen elsewhere.

Cons

My personal experience might not be typical, but I've spent more time than I would prefer on projects that are not relevant to my field or seem to be mostly administrative at the cost of developing my technical experience.

Full of engineers who mostly started their careers at SEL. Because of this, most of the folks doesn't seem to have business skills and rely on the name the hardware has earned.
