Pros

You can make your own schedule. Most employees are friendly to one another. The best part of the job is the freedom to plan your own day.

Cons

You will be fired if you complain to HR about another employee following/driving by your home. You will not be taken seriously and they will give you the brush off. Beware if you do make a complaint that you are being harassed and stalked by a fellow coworker because a mysterious "retailer complaint" will be brought to your attention. They will place you on paid leave "pending an investigation". You will be on paid leave for almost 3 months with little contact from HR. You have to check in with them about the status of your job. They use the "retailer complaint" to legally keep you at home instead of the stalker/harasser. After the "investigation" clears you they will keep you on paid leave for a few more weeks while they "investigate" your stalking and harassment complaints. They will call you to discuss the details and avoid contact with you for weeks at a time. When they do contact you they want you to do a lot of leg work for them, like hunting down current and previous employees who might have a similar experience as you.....isn't that what they are supposed to do? Since I had photos, video, dates and times for all the incidents that happened to me you would think this would be open and shut, not the case. They will question all of your evidence and patronize you. Asking questions like: are you sure you are not over reacting?? Or, is it possible you made a mistake??! Finally, you will get a call from HR on a Friday close to 5pm letting you know that even though you were cleared of the "retailer complaint" the "retailer" does not feel comfortable with you being in their stores?!?! So they will have to terminate your employment with the company. Trust me you will be more than confused by this conversation. How can you be cleared of any wrong doing but fired?! Their follow up comments will just be ridiculous. Telling you they are still going to look into the stalking and harassment claims and if you have anymore information you should contact them. After all of this I find out that another employee who worked at the same location as myself had made complaints similar to mine months before about the same coworker!! She even called the police and had photos herself of the stalking. She was treated the same way as me, undermined and forced out of her job. My advice to anyone with a complaint: CALL THE POLICE!! Avoid HR, their only goal is to silence you and avoid lawsuits. You will have fabricated complaints filed against you to blemish your credibility in case you try to sue them. Or just keep silent and find another job. *Note: The stalking employee still works at the location. I have never made a complaint to HR before in all my years of working and I can assure you this will be a huge lesson for me in the future.

Pros

-Matched 401k -fellow colleagues are usually great to work with -immediate management seems to have your back

Cons

-Terrible health insurance. -no raises, but upper management will still get their bonus -bad upper management -Will take bonus money back from your pay after awarding it to you because you came in for inclement weather after no one else would, and say "Hey, you still got overtime" -limited opportunities for growth -will push more work, and responsibilities on you with no pay gain -paid 50% below market value -upper managenet could care less about its employee so long as their pockets aren't affected -no organization -overlooks some of the most talented individuals there -will go understaffed and double the work load after people are tired of being overworked and quit, and will make no efforts to hire anyone else, nor will management come in to assist. -constantly puts a band aid on known issues instead of actually trying to investigate the problem and find out whats wrong so it does not reoccur

Pros

None that I can think of other than you get to spend your whole day driving around really not working or thinking to hard.

Cons

Just about everything. Have to work weekends, management is a bunch of monkeys, no holidays off, pay is awful, actually have to take calls involving delivering pencils!!!
