Pros

Used to be a great company until the CEO let spending get out of hand...built a executive lounge and then immediately decided to move his office and team to a new building with a total reconstruction....

Cons

Layoffs have been finally announced. Anyone with a brain would've know that the CRC is their way of getting out of paying unemployment. If you don't get a job within 3 interviews due to any reason, you are out and it's on you so no unemployment. Sneaky business that came from HR.

Pros

None that I can think of. They always tell you how great they are but it's just brainwashing.

Cons

The staff is always looking to trip each other up. No one helps anyone else. Everyone is very stressed out from all the corporate baloney. Everyone seems to hate everyone else. Many bitter employees and they sit around and gripe a lot at the back stations. The nurses stations are the management staff that don't help out and just report on people. They send home the support nurse to save money and you don't get any help. The transporters are being timed! They have to push the guerney very fast everywhere they go or they will be written up. They also keep the ticket to ride to report on whoever didn't write on it correctly which they are not suppose to do. Very unhappy place to work.

Pros

I love being a nurse and that helped me endure the ugly politics. Read all the reviews. You will see a theme.

Cons

Read all the reviews on this site. The same theme. BAD management. Corporate culture of bullying, retaliation and targeting employees. You will NEVER get fair treatment once targeted. After 16 years, I have found a healthy Department in the Scripps System. Many of us are "refugees" who fled other Departments. Don't waste 16 years of your life. I know of nurses from 6 other Departments in the system that experienced what I wrote below. I have worked in numerous Departments and have found 2 that are functional. There is NO protection. No union and I am not even big on Unions. Every Refugee has same story. Toxic work environments. You can tell which Departments are the worst because they have jobs posted week after week. We fled departments that had the following. Lazy team, Management missing and playing favorites, if you speak up you will be Written up. Double standards.Catering to MDs and not backing nurses. True story. MD didn't know computer charting, refused to use the help line for assistance, delayed patient care because no orders and the nurse was harassed by Management because the doctor complained about the nurse. Turn the table. If nurse showed up and didn't know basic requirement of the job, I doubt anyone would ever suggest it was somehow the doctor who was the problem. Toxic, toxic, toxic.
